Relational Practices of Art
Relational Practices of Art is a Module within the Master Relational Design and takes place from June 18 to July 11, 2014.
The Module analyses the artistic and relational practices of the XX century as described by Nicolas Bourriaud in “Relational Aesthetics”. The course re-contextualises such terms as “interactivity” and “sharing”, given the basilar role they play in marketing and communication.
Students practice the relational theories they learn, in order to get a deeper understanding of the artistic movements and how they are exploited in the social context. The Module is completed by a final practice of creating a publication in Milan.
