Touch base with the world of interaction design and physical computing. Learn basic electronic skills needed to prototype your own interactive projects using the mighty and user-friendly Arduino microcontroller. No prior skills required!
This room is divided into 3 main activities / challenges:
1. LET’S GET PHYSICAL
Get confident with electricity and electronics principles, tinkering with some ready-made toys and win the fear of approaching circuit-based devices.
2. GOODBYE BOREDOM, HELLO ARDUINO
Meet your new best pal Arduino and learn his alphabet. Once you speak his language, take some first steps into building simple, smart yet beautiful projects of basic interaction design.
Tie everything together to invent, build and develop your very first augmented-object. Create an unexpected dialog between the object and its environment by rethinking the concept of “interface”.
